Antique mahogany military naval campaign drawers, brass handles and tall turned feet. On the back of the drawers is written " commanders room 9" and the the back of the top surface is a small cut out. The cut out along with 2 fixing marks to one side are typical of navy campaign furniture as they had to be fixed solid against walls. Another observation is the overall depth, naval furniture is typically narrower than standard chests. Good solid overall condition aside from the areas highlighted. There is also a black ink stain to the top, this could be removed with some aggressive work to the top but i consider it an honest feature and part of it's long well travelled history. No keys but all locks are present.
