Vintage solid oak 20 drawer haberdashery cabinet with open centre shelf. This salvaged retail unit has undergone sensible restoration, all of the drawers are nicely dovetailed, in excellent condition, run smoothly on the metal runners and are easily removable. The whole frame section to the drawers can be easily moved meaning the open shelf can be altered to your preference. New bronzed label holders. The two larger bottom drawers are solid and dovetailed and feature original solid brass handles. Likely to have featured another 9 drawers when originally produced with roll top doors but these have long gone. The interior and hardwood ply sides have been painted in a grey/blue which work as a nice contrast to the lightly waxed natural oak. An attractive and extremely useful piece offering substantial and organised storage. Suitable for a variety of environments, bedroom, living room, workshop, retail and hospitality. Documents, clothes, shoe collection. The drawers also accomodate 2 wine sized bottles each and the centre shelf is perfect for serving and storing your glasses.
