Early 20th century painted pine carpenters trunk. A large heavy duty trunk with iron carry handles, ceramic castors and dovetail joints. The hasp and staple is a later but suitable addition. A nice patina throughout, heavily waxed and polished with a hard waxoil to the inside. Functional as both a storage trunk and bench, window seat/ottoman or coffee/side table.
