Antique Queen Anne style walnut cane back armchair. Construction appears to be a combination of walnut and mahogany, the cane and centre supported backrest features some interesting marquetry all of which remains intact. The upholstery is without doubt a much later addition but is inkeeping and has been carried out to a good standard. The arms and legs are beautifully carved and remain strong with minimal movement.
Overall, a superb example in very good condition, please expect wear/patina constant with age. c 1800-1820
